The centenary provides a unique opportunity to confirm the relevance of the ILO's mandate for social justice and the Decent Work Agenda, as well as to outline a path that will enable the ILO to meet new challenges in the second century. The relevance of this article is that some areas of organization of workers in different occupations in the labor market are still not developed and not all countries have ratified the ILO Convention. During the discussion of the topic, it became clear that the national science does not pay enough attention to the analysis of prospects for ratification by Ukraine of ILO conventions in the light of current realities. The most important objective of the ILO at the moment is to ensure stability and prosperity through the development of decent and secure work, with particular emphasis on expanding employment opportunities and job creation, improving working and living conditions, and providing social protection in the globalized world. The article explores the main tasks and directions of the ILO in the context of rapid development and changes in economic relations, which requires more careful regulation and adaptation of international labor standards, Смоквіна Г.А., Кімінчиджи Г.І. Дослідження основних завдань МОП та напрямів використання закордонного досвіду у вітчизняному законодавстві 70 standards, which are covered in ILO Conventions to national legislation. The structure and activities of the ILO as a specialized UN agency are described social nature in the creation of international standards in the field of socio-economic rights, investigated topics and areas of rulemaking. For Ukraine, ratification of those ILO conventions that provide for a higher level of protection of workers' rights and guarantees than national law remains a pressing issue. As part of Ukraine-ILO cooperation, on December 1, 2019, Ukraine ratified 71 ILO conventions. The task of the state today is to intensify the process of ratification and implementation of the content of ILO conventions and recommendations, due to the fact that their principles and norms are aimed at consolidating modern social and labor rights. The ratification of the eight ILO conventions (No88, No97, No157, No168, No171, No173, No181, No188) in the framework of the Government's Action Plan to enforce the European Social Charter for 2015-2019 should be accelerated. Having analyzed the state of the economy, we propose for ratification by Ukraine the following ILO conventions: No167, No168, No170, No171, No183, which are required under the current conditions. Among the prospects for further exploration in this area, it is advisable to explore the issues of Convention No175 on Part-Time Work. Conducted research of foreign experience on ratification of the Conventions and gained experience will improve the situation in the society and in the labor market, will provide enterprises with skilled workforce, improve the health of the nation, which will have a favorable effect on the international level of our country.
