In Ukraine, the notion of fraud has been spreading lately. It arises when a company wants to gather information about its competitors and surpass them in a particular activity in order to occupy a leading position in the market. Most companies use legitimate methods of gathering information, and some are able to become leaders in their field. Therefore, business executives and managers use different methods to prevent fraud. Large enterprises implement departments or departments of information security and use various methods and programs to protect the inside information of the enterprise, as well as develop measures against external threats. The intelligence unit must be ready to work in an emergency. After all, the company does not always know in advance what the situation will be and what decisions will need to be made. In order to reduce the risk, it is necessary for the whole group to come to an understanding of the problem and make a decision on how to solve it. In the future, select the rules for the work. This system assumes that every employee who knows certain information about a competitor or his subsequent actions, minimizes the dissemination of information among other employees. This is due to the fact that the employee understands his purpose in the enterprise, values his work, which is why he restricts access to the data obtained. On the basis of increased competition and rising crime rates, an increasing question arises as to the creation of an intelligence unit. This need will continue to grow. This is the conclusion that scientists from the experience of more developed countries and the practical need for each entrepreneur to have information about their competitor. Obtaining this information will be the responsibility of the intelligence service. The primary purpose of the Competitive Intelligence Service is to identify and prepare closed information on potential threats to the operation of the enterprise. The competitiveness of a business directly depends on the ability of its executives to properly process input information. In this case, the company needs to process and save the information received for later use. In order to achieve a monopoly status in the market, it is necessary to turn the received information into a trade secret. Competitive search is a very powerful tool for market research, and today it is an emerging discipline. It originated on the border of economics, law and specialty disciplines. Spyware is distinguished by the fact that it is carried out only in accordance with the current Ukrainian legislation. The result of intelligence is to obtain results during the analytical processing of a large amount of data obtained from different informant sources. Today, all major companies in the world that are aware of the need to create an effective corporate strategy, set up specialized intelligence units. But when information becomes the same economic resource as modern technology or finance, every manager wants to be aware of the intentions and unexpected actions of his or her competitors by monitoring information without going beyond the limits allowed by our law. The most promising area of general theoretical and applied scientific research is the improvement of existing and development of innovative integrated tools for information retrieval and processing, as well as the application of new methods and methods of analytical activity that would ensure the fulfillment of a complex of intelligence tasks.
