The purpose of this study was investigate the effect of initial weight of Holstein young bulls on feedlot performance, slaughter and careass characteristics. Twenty tl1'Obulls were allocated into three groups and each group consisted of 7,7 and 8 animals. Initial average liye weights of animals were 205. O, 267.4 and 306.4 kg in groups I, II and III, respectively. Each group of animals were kept and managed under loose housing conditions and fed with the same ration.
