Suınmary: In the present study, the efficacy of albendazole and oxfendazole on the secondary hydatidosis was investigated. For this purpose, 15-25 days old female and male, totally ISO albino mice were infected with intraperitoneal injection of approximately 6000 viable protoscolices derived from sheep livers hydatid cysts. Scolex viabiUty 'was verifled by morphology, movement, flame cell activity and eosin uptake.
