Three group.~' of mice used in this study were given the fo 110wing treatments: i. normal (control, no treatment), ii. subjeeted to total body irradiation, iii. subjeeted to total hody irradiation plus transplmıfation of nucleated syngenie bone marrow eelis. Then a) eoneentration of Fe, Cu, Zn, Mn, Ca and Mg in liver, b) spleen weight, c) numbers ofhaematopoietie eoloniesformed in spleen and d) percentage of radioactive iron (59Fe) uptake by hem e and non-heme eompounds of of hone-marrow and spleen were measured.
