XIX. Yüzyıl Başlarında İstanbul Merkezli Osmanlı Deniz Taşımacılığı Istanbul Centered Ottoman Sea Transport In The Early XIX. Century

In this study, Istanbul centered national and international sea transportations according to three different Vessel Permission Registers dated between 1822-23 that are in Ottoman Archive of Prime Ministry have been eloborated. The Composition of sea transportation which is composed of issues such as the factors influencing sea transportation, goods and properties being transported, sea vehicles used in transformation, the communites or states that the transporters are subject to, has been aimed to be introduced.
