In this study, one of the most effective names in Turkish Educational History İsmail Hakki Baltacioğlu that his educational philosophy has been analyzed about two main concepts of "Ethics and Faith". Baltacioğlu explains two main problems that are still valid today too which are the lack of "faith and ethics". But the two concepts have different meanings in his terminology rather than those which are assumed as in religion. He understands and explains the "faith" as "believing something deeply". He considers "ethics" as "a responsibility which has to be felt to work and develop". While Baltacioğlu discussing the lacks about these two concepts related to education, he also brings arguments about main subjects such as physical, emotional and logical competency and decision making at the same time.
