In this study, the 6-7 weeks old spinach (Spinacia oleraceae L. cv. Gladiatör) seedlings were grown up for 15-days after pesticide, hormone and pesticide+hormone had sprayed, and carbonic anhydrase activities were established in the extracted leaves. The established carbonic anhydrase (CA) activities, were compared with treated plants and control plants. 20 Fehmi ODABAŞOĞLU, Ö. İrfan KÜFREVİOĞLU We determined that CA activity was inhibited by all pesticides. All hormones which were applied in three different concentrations except 10'" M ABA and 10 M KIN, decreased the CA activity. It is determined that the inhibition effect made by pesticides, removed with different hormon concentrations.
