Lion-bull descriptions that we saw in dijferent areas from prehistorik times to 18. century are dealed with in this article. Examples which examined are defined with stylistic and formal features and touched on ikonographic mean of this composition. This scene, was applied most densely stone also different materials like metal, ceramic, ivory and was tried different variations. This composition provided main development and was represented lot of sucsessfull in Artukid period. These, belonged to this period reflect proficiently style. Examples, which seen,especially Georgian architecture show clearly impact of Anatolian Seljuks. Lion-bull combats are seen a ceramic dish which produced in iznik in Ottoman period. it is very interesting and it indicates that composition is popular until late periods.
