In this study it was aimed to investigate the relationship between life satisfaction and health promoting behaviour of teachers worked special education schools in Kayseri city. Randomly selected, 102 teachers were participated to the study volunteerly. Volunteers were performed demographic questionnaire, Healthy Lifestyle Behaviors Scale II (HLBS II) and life satisfaction inventory. Data were analyzed by using IBM SPSS (version 20.0). Spearman Correlation parameter calculated in order to comment the relationship with data, Multiple regretion analysis was performed for the predictive power of life satisfaction for health promoting behaviour levels of participants. According to analysis, a positive relationship was found between life satisfaction and health promoting behaviours levels of teachers and it was found that life satisfaction levels predictived health promoting behaviour levels. As a result of this study, it was found that teachers had higher life satisfaction, were tend towards to higher health promoting behaviours. It was thought that increased life satisfaction of teachers could increase their health promoting behaviours, so that quality of education, they provided to handicapped students, would increase in the same parallels
