Caracterización óptica de la laguna costera de Coyuca de Benítez

This paper describes the optical characterization of the Coyuca de Benitez coastal lagoon during August 1992 and December 1992. Such characterization was achieved by using a spectroradiometer, measuring both the volumetric reflectance R(l) and the diffuse attenuation coefficient Kd(l z) from a small boat. Areas with optical differences were identified through a statistical cluster analysis. The different optical areas identified by this methodology correspond to clearly delimited bio-optical regions.
