According to the Biology of Cognition, emotions are postures that define behavior domains. The emotion that accepts the other is love. Love is an emotion prior to language, but we learn the attributes of emotions of our culture, by social interaction. In a way of life in which love is the most present emotion, a child will elect an affectionate perception of the world, since their perception will have this emotion as a base. In a way of life in which a child grows feeling rejected, this feeling of rejection - and all emotions that come with it - will define their perception and behaviors. We go from one emotion to another but, in our interactions, there are some core emotional behaviors that characterize this relationship with the world. The social background is of great importance, because the development of a child consists of a process of internal structuring transformations directly related to their historical interactions.
