Due to the composition and activation mode of the dual cure resin cements, which combine light and chemical po- lymerization, physical and mechanical properties as bond strength, wear resistance and compression resistance, are superior to other luting materials. However, as all resto- rative materials, they also have some drawbacks. The hu- midity control at the moment of the cementation is crucial, and an effective light polymerization is necessary. Poly- merization shrinkage is another inconvenience. The pur- pose of this work is to present and analyze the dual cure resin cements.
