Although all the managers considered accessibility to be important for hosting this public, six managers claimed that their spaces were not adapted to receive wheelchair users. They cited financial difficulties as the main barrier to making the necessary adaptations. For this scenario to change, managers need to know the legislation and accessibility standards, in order to adapt their spaces and seek resources to overcome the barriers to implementing these adaptations.
