Instructions carrying by ambassadors are an important diplomatic source for understanding of international relationships of the Modern Age. Obviously, recurrent topics or the emphasis on certain aspects that are repeated in many of them, are proof that good intentions that accompanied the ambassador at the beginning of his mission did not always have the same result in the performance. The Spanish diplomatic systems hone high thanks to the skilful policy of Bedmar, Zuniga, Onate, Cardenas or Gondomar, some of them ambassadors in London.
