EnglishThe confidential reports that responsible diplomatics accredited before the Papal Seat transmitted to their respective Courts about the personal profile and "political" of the different cardinals that were composing the College of Cardinals were frequent. Their purpose was to count on relevant information and to act coherently and in the interest of the crown when the time come to choose a new pope. It is presented here the document of 1750, during the reign of Benedicto XIV, by the auditor of the court of La Rota Clemente Alfonso de Arostegui, later to the time counselor of Castille and Spanish ambassador in Napoles.
