"El delincuente honrado" de Jovellanos traducido al italiano por el jesuita Antonio García (1807)

The object of this article is the detailed analysis of the first published Italian translation of El delincuente honrado by Jovellanos, that come to light in Venice in 1807, being its author the Jesuit born in Avila Antonio Garcia Lopez, of whom is offered a bio-bibliographical outline. As an introduction it offers an overall view of the Italian translations of this Jovellanos' work, some of them very little known.
