Revisión crítica del Desarrollo del Máster y Doctorado Oficial de Enfermería en España

Objective: To promote reflection, awareness and sensitization in nursing professionals on the development of the official Master and PhD in Spain. Method A critical and reflective reading about the monograph “Desarrollo del Master y Doctorado Oficial de Enfermeria en Espana” written by professionals involved in the process. Results: In 2007 -after a long difficult way- limitations regarding the Nursing degree are broken. This development was promoted by the Bologna Plan in all European countries and also by a powerful inter-university network that offers postgraduate education with access to the PhD in Nursing. Conclusions: The new high quality education for nursing professionals in R&D, teaching, and management generates not only more skills on these areas but also the growth of every discipline and the international social recognition.
