The author shows the main hotspots of tension and conflict in Asia-Pacific, an area that will lead the world in economic and political terms. This current century is the Asian century and due to that the conflicts explained in the article are the main obstacle to the Asia hegemonic power in the future. The situation of instability in Pakistan and Afghanistan and the economic evolution of China and the relationships with its neighbors will determine the evolution of this strategic region.
