This work aims to fill a historical gap in the analysis of the port of A Coruna, which can be seen in the scarce interest that the twentieth century has received, and in a excessively aggregate nature of the studies. I try to go deeply into the analysis of the most significant goods traffics of this period, through the use of the Port Authority reports. We can observe a considerable growth of the port traffic as a whole, though A Coruna maintained its character as a predominantly unloading port. The main goods were coal (from United Kingdom and later from northern Spain, which was redistributed through seaboard traffic, mainly to the fishing fleet) and water supply; and, in smaller numbers,
