Recent approval of National Hidrological Plan has made a new framework of action for water resources planning in Spain. Depuration and reuse of waste water and desalination of marine or brackish continental water have a few signified yet between hydric resources that yearly are useful. However they offer large possibility within a short time in the new frame of water resources planning that values integral exploitation and rational management of hydric resources existing in a region.
