The economic sector that has suffers the most often from the affects of uncommon atmospheric conditions are those activities agricultural, these occasionally cause heavy losses to harvests and damage to the cultivated countryside and agricultural infraestructure (roads, irrigation networks). The Valencian countryside is not alien to these events and other corresponding climatic conditions (rainstorms, frost, hailstones, storms and droughts), they require an accurate study of the causes, economics consequences and territorial localization of the risk areas, for a subsequent proposal for action measure. The list of methods of defences that have been carried out on Valencian lands before the climatic events complete the present study.
