espanolEste trabajo reflexiona sobre el papel de la mujer dentro y fuera del teatro del siglo XVIII por medio del analisis de la comedia sentimental La dama misterio, capitan marino y de las declaraciones de su autora Maria de Laborda en el prologo a la comedia. Esta pieza teatral tiene un notable interes por dos aspectos fundamentales para el periodo en el que esta enmarcada y para el genero literario al que pertenece: esta escrita por una actriz y protagonizada por una mujer, pero ademas, se reivindica un papel femenino mas activo en la sociedad, haciendo un particular uso del recurso del travestismo teatral en el desarrollo de la comedia. Este estudio se ocupa de explicar la figura y la obra de Maria de Laborda, desde su marginalidad, pero con su capacidad de innovacion, dentro del panorama teatral de finales del Setecientos. EnglishThis work reflects about the role of women inside and outside the XVIIIth Century Theatre, by way of an analysis of the sentimental comedy La dama misterio, capitan marino and her author's words, Maria de Laborda, in its Prologue. This theatrical play has a remarkable interest for the period it was created and the literary genre it belongs to for two reasons: a woman wrote it, and the main character is also a woman, and besides, it claims for a more active feminine role in society. For that, it makes use of a particular resource: travestism in the theatre in the comedy development. This study explains the work and figure of Maria de Laborda, since her marginality but with her capacity for innovation inside the theatrical landscape of the last decades of the Eighteen century.
