!e province of Cagayan comprises an aggregate land area of 929,500 ha making it the second largest province in the region. It is bounded by Balintang Channel and Babuyan Group of Islands on the north; Paci"c Ocean on the east; Isabela province at the south; and the Cordillera Mountains on the west. A set of islands can be found at the northern tip of the province namely, Palaui, Fuga, Calayan, Dalupiri, Camiguin and Babuyan Claro.
