This year for the first time the College joined the Health Hotel, a collaboration of 36 health organisations that come together to hold joint fringe events at political party conferences. Ours was the only royal college taking part, alongside organisations such as the General Medical Council, the British Medical Association, the Healthcare Commission, The Health Foundation, the NHS Confederation and The King's Fund, to bring real insight and clinical knowledge to party political debate.
