Tarım ve Kırsal Kalkınmayı Destekleme Kurumu Tarafından Desteklenen Projelerin İ

Evaluation of project results that supported and put into practice specific to employment between 20112014 by Agriculture and Rural Development Support Institution (ARDSI) in 42 provinces throughout Turkey is the main purpose of this study. This study has qualification an explorative qualification. Previously, there was no similar work on national scale. The sample of research consists of 145 projects selected from these projects. It has been done survey with face to face in 16 provinces 145 beneficiaries for this purpose. It has seen that 3.5 times increase in employment has been provided by ARDSI supports and the most increase is seen in broiler production with 34.2 times. Besides, the highest employment has been determined meat producing and broiler production follows it on measures basis. Another result related to employment belongs to cost of creating employment of one person. It has been found that average cost of creating employment of one person with ARDSI projects is 153.466 TL. Supports that will supply sustainability of small family farming are necessary by taking account of interregional differences in giving investment supports. With regards to employment creation, it should be concentrated on the use of local labour force in investment and if necessary this should be accepted prerequisite and increasing of working capacity should be done.
