Gout is an inflammatory disorder caused by the deposition of uric acid crystalline the joints and fingers. On the other hand, cannarhizome with high carbohydrate content can improve kidney function tested in rats with a diet hyperuricemia with fiber. Hyperuricemia state where is an increase in blood uric acid. The purpose of this study is to investigate the kidney function improvement by canna starch consumption in gout rats. Plasma creatinine level determination with Jaffe method (Creatinine FS). Afterwards, the creatinine plasma levels among groups were statistically analyzed using the Kruskall-Wallis test and followed by MannWhitney test (p <0,05). The results showed that administration of canna flour for 7 days can reduce the average plasma creatinine levels in rats induced by potassium oxonat (p <0,05). The results revealed the decreasing of AUC berturut-turut sebesar 26,67 ± 3,96, 28,10 ± 4,80, dan 23,41 ± 4,84 (p<0,05),
