Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) have been useful industrial products since the beginning of their commercial production in 1929. The first report of PCBs occurrence in wildlife was made from the work of S6ren Jensen, a Swedish Chemist, in the New Scientist in 1966 (1).
