“Metodologia de Cartas” Como Forma de Análise dos Trânsitos Urbanos de Jovens Contemporâneos

A partir dos estudos contemporâneos sobre as juventudes, entende-se que ha uma pluralidade entre esses sujeitos que acarreta inclusive na escolha de lugares para frequentar. Esta e uma investigacao que buscou analisar os trânsitos urbanos de jovens a partir do uso da metodologia de cartas. O recorte juvenil foram trinta jovens-estudantes do Colegio de Aplicacao da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul e o recorte espacial foi a cidade de Porto Alegre. Para isso efetuou-se a metodologia de cartas, na qual os sujeitos ficariam vinte e quatro horas com algum visitante hipotetico e deveriam escrever sobre quais locais e que itinerario fariam pela cidade. Os resultados apontam que os locais publicos predominam para os jovens participantes da pesquisa, principalmente os locais abertos de lazer. Ha uma visao sobre Porto Alegre ser perigosa devido ao grande numero de assaltos. Percebeu-se, em diversas cartas, que o itinerario escrito passou por lugares que estes jovens escolarizados circulam em sua rotina. Assim, estabeleceu-se um pequeno estudo sobre as rotas citadas nas cartas, apontando para duas maneiras de circulacao na cidade. Desta forma, entende-se que os jovens estudados frequentam, ocupam, circulam e marcam os espacos urbanos em Porto Alegre. Palavras-chave: Juventudes. Porto Alegre. Metodologia de Cartas. ABSTRACT From the contemporary studies on the youths, it is understood that there is a plurality between these subjects that entails even in the choice of places to attend. This is an investigation that sought to analyze the urban transits of young people from the use of the methodology of letters. The juvenile cut was thirty young students from the College of Application of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and the spatial cut was the city of Porto Alegre. For this, the letter methodology was used, in which subjects would stay twenty-four hours with some hypothetical visitor, and should write about which places and what route would make for the city. The results indicate that the public places predominate for the young participants of the research, mainly the open places of leisure. There is a view about Porto Alegre being dangerous due to the large number of assaults. It was noticed in several letters that the written itinerary passed through places that these educated young people circulate in their routine. Thus, a small study was established on the routes mentioned in the letters, pointing to two ways of circulation in the city. In this way, it is understood that the young people studied frequent, occupy, circulate and mark the urban spaces in Porto Alegre. Keywords: Youths. Porto Alegre. Methodology of Letters.
