Esse artigo investiga o modelo de decrescimento, crescimento, desenvolvimento sustentavel a partir da sustentabilidade local e global. O objetivo geral do artigo consiste em investigar, a evolucao do conceito de decrescimento e crescimento economico e social, a nocao do padrao de desenvolvimento sustentavel e do paradigma de sustentabilidade economica, social, ambiental e/ou ecologica. Os objetivos especificos pretendem estudar a evolucao e os efeitos do decrescimento e crescimento ante o desenvolvimento, como a expectativa de um novo padrao de sociedade sustentavel baseado no modelo de decrescimento; pesquisar o progresso do conceito de desenvolvimento sustentavel perante o paradigma de sustentabilidade; investigar o paradigma de sustentabilidade e a dimensao ecologica do desenvolvimento sustentavel, na sociedade moderna. Na investigacao do artigo, adotou-se o metodo indutivo, instrumentalizado com as tecnicas do referente, da categoria, do conceito operacional e da pesquisa bibliografica. ABSTRACT  The study article investigates degrowth model, growth, sustainable development and sustainability in local and global scale. The overall objective of this article is to investigate the evolution of the concept of degrowth and social and economic growth, the standard notion of sustainable development and the paradigm of economic, social, environmental and / or ecological. The specific objectives aim to study the evolution and effects of degrowth and growth before the development as the expectation of a new standard for sustainable society based on degrowth model; search the progress of sustainable development to the paradigm of sustainability; investigate the paradigm of sustainability and the environmental dimension of sustainable development in modern society.
