Combate à Violência Contra as Mulheres: A Tipificação do Feminicídio na América Latina

O objetivo do presente artigo cientifico e tracar um paralelo entre a protecao da dignidade humana da mulher e a tipificacao do feminicidio, com enfoque para as medidas de assistencia adotadas em paises da America Latina. Para tanto, apresentamos na pesquisa que segue, um breve panorama internacional e nacional da violencia contra a mulher, esclarecendo que este e um fenomeno mundial muito danoso, que afeta diretamente a vitima e a saude publica (eis que fere a integridade fisica, psicologica e moral da vitima). A tipificacao desta conduta nas legislacoes nao e suficiente para o combate a pratica deste crime, sendo necessaria tambem a implementacao de politicas publicas destinadas a protecao da mulher. Politicas Publicas.   ABSTRACT  The purpose of this scientific paper is to draw a parallel between the protection of human dignity and the criminalization of femicide, with a focus on Latin America. Therefore, we present in the following research, an international and national context of violence against women, given that this is a worldwide phenomenon. This violence directly affects public health (here it hurts the physical and moral integrity of the victim). The classification of this conduct in the laws is not enough to combat the practice of this crime. For the protection of human dignity is guaranteed, it is also necessary to implement public policies for the protection of women. Keywords: Human Dignity. Feminicide. Violence Against Women.
