Esse artigo visa discutir algumas concepcoes acerca da relacao de trabalho e poder em contexto indigena. Para isso, foi selecionado um texto publicado no jornal indigena AJIndo , construido dentro da Reserva Indigena de Dourados/MS, a fim de abordar a busca dos indios por oficios fora das aldeias. As contribuicoes de Michel Foucault embasarao a discussao, de modo a verificar como se manifesta uma perspectiva de dominacao por meio do trabalho na sociedade nacional. Palavras-chave: Dominacao. Foucault. Indios. Poder. ABSTRACT  This paper aims to discuss some approaches of the relationship of work and power in indigenous context. For this, it was selected a text published in the indigenous periodical named AJIndo, elaborated within the Indigenous Reserve of Dourados/MS, in order to discuss the Indians seek for jobs outside their villages.
