O Projeto Ético-Político do Serviço Social e Suas Implicações na Contemporaneidade

RESUMO O presente trabalho resulta de pesquisa bibliografica, que teve como objetivo analisar o Projeto Etico-Politico do Servico Social sob a egide do Projeto Neoliberal. Neste, sao tratados os elementos socio-historicos do Servico Social e os desafios postos para Servico Social na Contemporaneidade face ao neoliberalismo, a reestruturacao produtiva e as ideias da pos-modernidade; apresentamos o Projeto Etico-Politico profissional, dando enfase a sua origem, significados, dimensoes, materialidade, embates, desafios, limites e possibilidades. Assim, a pesquisa foi realizada utilizando-se da revisao de literatura, o que possibilitou a compreensao de uma dinâmica complexa de uma sociedade que se funda na contradicao, a qual interfere diretamente no trabalho profissional dos/as assistentes sociais, elegendo como premissa a identificacao dos limites e possibilidades que tensionam a construcao de mediacoes para materializacao do PEP, mediante o capitalismo monopolista. Palavras-chave: Projeto Etico-Politico; Servico Social; Projeto Neoliberal ABSTRACT This work is a result of literature search, it aims to analyze the Ethical - Political Project of Social Service under the aegis of the neoliberal project. In which, the socio - historical elements of social work and the challenges of Contemporary Social Work against neoliberalism, the restructurating process and the ideas of postmodernity are treated; the professional ethical-political project are presented, emphasizing its origin, meanings, dimensions, materiality, struggles, challenges, limitations and possibilities. Thus, the usage of the literature review conducted the survey and enabled the understanding of a complex dynamic of a society that is based on contradictions, which directly interferes with the job of social workers, electing as premises the identification of the limits and possibilities that tension the construction of means for materialization of the Ethical - Political Project, inserted in the monopolist capitalism.
