PERCEPÇÕES DE ADOLESCENTES E SEUS CUIDADORES QUANTO AO NÍVEL DE MATURIDADE PARA ESCOLHA PROFISSIONAL - UM ESTUDO DE CASO

RESUMO O exercicio profissional do psicologo nos contextos educativos do Brasil abrange a melhoria do processo ensino-aprendizagem no seu aspecto global e caracteriza-se, inclusive, por intervencoes praticas in loco. Percebe-se, no contexto brasileiro, uma consolidacao das praticas/estudos no campo da Orientacao Vocacional Ocupacional, em especial, a ampliacao dessa atividade oferecida nas escolas. Neste sentido, o presente trabalho apresenta estudo que objetiva compreender as percepcoes/influencias dos pais/responsaveis sobre as escolhas profissionais dos jovens, especificamente, no que se refere a maturidade para escolha profissional. Trata-se de um relato de experiencia profissional, utilizando a abordagem socio historica, com locus uma escola basica do estado de Minas Gerais/Brasil. Participam desse estudo qualitativo seis estudantes do ultimo ano do ensino medio e seus respectivos pais/responsaveis. Os instrumentos utilizados foram roteiro de entrevista semiestruturada e a Escala de Maturidade para Escolha Profissional (EMEP).  Os resultados demonstram que os pesquisados, no geral, apresentam nivel medio de maturidade e seguranca para escolherem uma profissao e que existem divergencias entre a visao dos pais em relacao a situacao de seus filhos. Observou-se influencia indireta da familia na escolha dos pesquisados e que, na maioria, os pais nao tem consciencia disso. EMEP ABSTRACT The professional practice of psychologists in educational contexts Brazil covers improving the teaching-learning process in its overall appearance and characterized, including, for practical interventions in loco. It is clear, in the Brazilian context, a consolidation of practices / studies in the field of Occupational Vocational Guidance, in particular the expansion of this activity offered in schools. In this sense, this work presents study that aims to understand the perceptions / influences of parents / guardians about the choices of young professionals, specifically as regards the maturity to career choice. This is an account of professional experience, using the socio-historical approach, with locus an elementary school in the state of Minas Gerais / Brazil. Participants in this qualitative study were six students in the last year of high school and their parents / guardians. The instruments used were semi-structured interview and the Maturity Scale for Professional Choice (EMEP). The results show that respondents in general have an average level of maturity and security to choose a profession and there are differences between the views of parents regarding the situation of their children. There was indirect influence of the family in the choice of the students and that most parents are unaware of this.
