Dimethylaminoethylazide (DMAZ) is a new green liquid fuel. The fuel has attracted much attention as a replacement for monomethylhydrazine (MMH) and unsymmetricaldimethylhydrazine (UDMH) for its non-toxic and high performance. This paper reviews recent performance and applications of DMAZ. Furthermore, more attention should be paid to the prospects of the amino-azides.
