Dzieła zebrane Zygmunta Krasińskiego – elektroniczna edycja naukowa

The new edition of Zygmunt Krasinski’s Dziela literackie – apart from its printed version – will be enriched with a digital edition containing the author’s works, critical apparatus and other materials such as the dictionary of language, pictures, links to texts in digital libraries. Why is such a novelty needed? While working on different editions of scholarly writing or scholarly and critical works, it is crucial to be aware of the coexistence of electronic and paper media in our culture and their influence on our lives. Therefore, in order to meet the expectations of prospective readers, we intend to create a new portal allowing to access Krasinski’s works and including additional tools which will enable to take full advantage of the new edition. However, in order to create such an edition it is necessary not only to combine, plan and coordinate the efforts of many individuals, but also to manage numerous problems. The article only indicates some issues requiring attention during working on a digital scholarly edition and introduces basic rules applied to the discussed edition.
