Picture frame is a combination of design and decoration. Each of these elementsis composed of fine arts, the end result which is the harmony between the twofunctions of utilitarian and decorative. The techniques of manufacturing gildedframes and among these techniques to develop the ground, mordands and gildingas well as design features such as joints and joinery were presented.
