Análise de Ruído Sonoro em Ambiente Industrial: Uma Nova Abordagem

This paper presents a preliminary analysis of the noise present in a plant of a large national industry. In an industrial environment some machines generate noise and can affect the health of the worker. The current legislation only deal with exposure to high noise levels, regardless of its spectral characteristic. The control of lowpass noise power, as found in the factory analysed in this paper, is not regulated. Keywords— Audible noise, low noise frequency, factory enviroment, occupational health.
