THIS RESEARCH WORK IS A CONTRIBUTION TO THE MORE PRECISE DETERMINATION OF THE LEAKAGE FIELD, THE CURRENT DENSITY DISTRIBUTION AND THE ELECTROMAGNETIC FORCES ACTING ON THE TRANSFORMER WINDINGS. AN ANALYTICAL METHOD FOR THE DETERMINATIONOF THE ELECTROMAGNETIC MAGNITUDES IS THE TRANSFORMER AREA, WHERE THE LAEKAGEFIELD IS EXISTING, HAS BEEN DEVELOPED USING MAXWELL'S DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONSAND INTRODUCING THE VECTOR POTENTIAL. BY THIS RESEARCH, DIFFERENT TRANSFORMER MODELS HAVE BEEN USED, AT FIRST SIMPLER AND THEN MORE COMPLICATED. THE RESULTS FOR THE LEAKAGE FIELD DISTRIBUTION ARE DIFFERENT THAN THE PREVIOUS RESEARCH WORKS. THE TRAPEZOIDAL SHAPE USED UP TODAY IS ONLY AN APPROACH OF THE REAL DISTRIBUTION. IT RESULTED CERTAINLY THAT THE LEAKAGE FIELD DISTRIBUTION APPROACHES TO THE TRAPEZOIDAL SHAPE, WHILE THERE ARE NO TWO STRAIGHT SIDE LINES, BUT TWO CURVES. THIS MEANS THAT THE LEAKAGE FIELD IS SMALLER THAN BY THE PREVIOUS RESEARCH WORKS. A METHOD FOR THE CALCULATION OF THE SHORT CIRCUIT FORCES, THE TENSILE AND THE SHEAR STRESSES HAS BEEN DEVELOPED AND TRANSFORMER WINDINGS CONSISTING OF CONDUCTIVE SHEETS (COPPER OR ALUMINUM) HAVE BEEN RESEARCHED TOO.
