To report a new complication after laparoscopic surgery i.e recurrence of endometrium and leiomyoma fragments from uterine tissue residues after laparoscopic hysterectomy or laparoscopic myomectomy. Methods : This study was carried out on three patients with the recurrence of endometrium or leiomyoma fragments from tissue residues after laparoscopic hysterectomy or laparoscopic myomectomy in the First Affiliated Hospital, Yangtze University, China. We also explored the possible reasons and corresponding preventative strategies.
