Androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) remains the cornerstone of management of prostate cancer (PCa). Previous studies have shown that men undergoing ADT develop insulin resistance and diabetes, but the mechanisms behind ADT-induced metabolic abnormalities remain unclear.
