In this booklet Dr Fletcher Beach summarises his experience of twenty years in the treatment of mentally-feeble children. After a rapid description of the principal characteristics of idiocy and imbecility, he explains what measures of hygiene and therapeutics have been found most useful to meet the peculiar deficiencies and diseases of this unfortunate class.
