Sam was sitting in the break area, staring into his coffee and wondering why he continues to drink such a noxious brew every morning. He commonly refers to it as industrial-grade and tolerably bitter, its only virtue being that it's free. If this sounds cheap on Sam's part, he readily admits that it is, although it's also practical. He rationalizes his choice by taking care always to drink his coffee from one of the company's logo-emblazoned insulated mugs, thereby consuming one less non-recyclable Styrofoam cup each day.
