In the November 2016 President's Page, Past President John Bradford highlighted the challenges SEG needs to address: we need to broaden our base, we need to do a better job of retaining members as they make the transition from student to professional, and we need to demonstrate our value and relevance if we are to grow our membership. Bradford went on to highlight the strategy adopted last year, which would address these issues and, in particular, broaden both the base of knowledge and career opportunities for our membership.
