Recognizing the importance of the Middle East region for both SEG and the oil and gas industry, a delegation of SEG representatives, led by SEG President Bill Abriel, visited the region in early January. The trip was an opportunity for SEG to showcase its involvement in the region, engage with top leaders from various oil and gas companies and academic institutions, and promote the array of SEG offerings to those in the geosciences community. Tom Agnew, SEG associate executive director of programs, and Yogaani Bhatia, SEG Middle East regional manager, accompanied Abriel on the trip.
