It was beautiful and sunny in Dallas, Texas, the morning of 15 October 2016. Students, with enthusiastic smiles and filled with curiosity, began to occupy a vast ballroom of a downtown hotel. As the number of students grew, the friendly chitchat among them reached a higher decibel level. A total of 51 students from 25 different countries filled the ballroom, and the stage was set for the SEG/Chevron Student Leadership Symposium (SLS), designed to prepare student leaders in the industry to tackle a variety of challenges and motivate their peers.
