A clinical trial compared blood glucose measurements obtained with reagent strips and the Eyetone Meter with those obtained on an AutoAnalyser. The blood glucose readings obtained with the Eyetone Meter were sufficiently accurate for clinical use in Intensive Care Medicine and Anaesthesia.
