This study was carried out to explore the possible influences of occupational levels, alienation, and security on job satisfaction of blue-collar workers. The sample consisted of 100 supervisors and 100 rank-and-file workers. The measuring tools were the S-D Employees' Inventory, the Alienation Scale, and the Security-Insecurity Inventory. A 2x2x2 factorial design was used. Analysis of variance was applied. Significant F ratios were obtained for occupational level, alienation, security-insecurity, and for interaction between occupational level and alienation.
