The above-described improved DOCT flowmeter system provides reasonably repeatable measurements of retinal arteriole pulse waveforms, potentially facilitating systemic-circulation abnormality monitoring. The examination of the circulation with the novel device can be potentially useful for evaluating systemic circulation.
