Clear elucidation of the exact pathophysiological mechanisms of motor weakness in patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage has not yet been achieved. We attempted to investigate injury to the corticospinal tract in patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage using diffusion tensor imaging.
